Block paving may look fantastic when first laid, however, out of all the external surfaces used for driveways, it is by far the most difficult to maintain. Block paving is laid onto a bed of sand and sand is then used to compact the joints between the pavers. If left alone, it does not take long for weeds to start growing in these soft sanded areas. Dirt and muck from car tyres and oil leaks can soon make a nice looking block paved area look
untidy as well.

• Fungicidal wash is applied to deter living growth
• Block paving is pressure washed with industrial equipment
• Leave block paving 1-2 days to dry off 
• (depending on weather)
• Re-sanding of joints and compacted if necessary
• Two coats of Sealant applied and left to dry
