Pattern Imprinted Concrete has been a stalwart of the hard surface industry for over 25 years, the hardest wearing of all driveway and patio installations leaves people under the misapprehension that ongoing maintenance is not required.
However we are receiving an increasing number of customers whose imprinted concrete surface is wearing poorly and in places pieces of the pattern break away as frost and water damage erode any hairline crack or settlement cracks that often appear. M. Miller can clean, carry our minor repairs, recolour and seal your pattern imprinted concrete.
We are able to refurbish 20+ year old surfaces that have had very little maintenance over the years to bring back that wet look finish with a wonderful depth of colour.
A lot of calls we get are from homeowners whose driveway or patio is deteriorating very soon after the installation, this is often due to the contractor not thoroughly removing all of the acid release and then in a very short space of time the colour literally starts to peel of the surface.
We can offer advice and help if the contractor for what ever reason is unable to return and remedy the situation.
Our process to undertake the work is as follows:
•The imprinted concrete surface is washed with a high powered jet washer to remove any surface dirt, moss or algae.
•Any repairs are carried out and can be colour matched to the existing surface.
After the surface is dry, it is sealed with multiple coats of Smartseal resin sealants
•Re-tinting is then done at this stage to ‘colour match’ the original surface colouring
•An anti slip can be added to the final coat.
